Online auction going on on my fanpage

Yea you heard Right. Krista Marie Designs is hosting an online auction supporting some other home based businesses that hand make items as well. It's always great to help fellow artisans. And of course I have items in my auction as well. So come see the auction photo album on my fanpage and all you do is read the item description the starting bid price and bid increment and go from there. The auction ends the 12th at midnight and you must have a PayPal account. This is the best way for the sellers to finish transactions. So good luck to everyone and happy bidding.

Late night designing

So last night/this morning I got some nice dealings made. I managed to make a challenging necklace that I thought I would never finish, I upcycled some broaches and made a couple of rings. Now I can say insomnia defiantly won last night because I just could not sleep for anything.... Good for designing bad for me. But it's the start of a good weekend that's all. Now I'm sitting out side of my home sellin some of my jewelry pretty nice for a girl goin Off of no sleep ; )

What's your craft weekend plans??

I always look forward to the weekend. I call it my craft/fashion weekend. I get all my fabric, beads and glitter together and just go from there. I have noticed I think I design better when my table is slightly messy.. Odd I know but I can see all the colors and designs going together. When I have everything straightened I have no idea where to start. Now a lot of the time it does annoy me because I seem to always lose my snippers but I've come up with some great products I think from my little clutter.
Do any of you work better in a mess or everything squared?? I can't remember but I was to say it's the right brain that controls all these creativeness : ) maybe the mess helps with that too. Well I'm just here blabbering but if you've been excited about my shoe designs I will say in the next couple of weeks they will officially be for sale!!! Exciting I know, my shoe boxes are coming in and I will be shipping them nationwide. All my shoes have been upcycled and designed by myself so you could be the only person with these shoes. That's pretty awesome. I'll keep you posted have a great and safe weekend. And craft away.

I have been on a role.. I think with my idea of how I would design shoes if I had my own line... Well hey this is my own line : ) I have started up cycling shoes and I have loved every one of them : ) I want to start selling them or taking others shoes upon request and making them "new" as you know Kasha Designs is now under my name Krista Marie Designs.. No longer Kasha Designs but same great products

I have taken some time off to clear up some things in my life and business. I have chosen to get away from the name Kasha Designs and go with something that speaks more of me. Krista Marie Designs, I started Kasha with a friend and it just did not work out as I was doing all of the work anyway. With Krista Marie Designs, I am still designing what I love but there has been some add ons. I started designing and up cycling shoes, I just got a new dress form and making my own clothing line, once I become better at it I can take orders and will most likely be able to work with sizes 6-14. Jewelry is still selling on my fanpage which the link is still http://www.facebook.com/kashadesigns I would just hate to change everything after getting all my fans etc but the title is Krista Marie Designs. I am setting up a new online store I hope to have up by this weekend if not the start of next week. I am in the process of  building a portfolio as well for the Academy of Art University in San Fransisco, a very prestigious art school I hope to attend to get my bachelors in fashion design. So I just wanted to share with all of you what was going on and I'm happy to still be doing what I love and adding on to it. Here are some pictures of the new items I have made. Personally designing/upcycling shoes

With my love of fashion i have decided to come across in adding something amazing to Kasha Designs. Iam up cycling my old shoes or shoes I can get a hold of. So yeah  you can say a shoe designer. One of a kind and a friend has even asked me to upcycle a pair of her old not so pretty shoes anymore. This is going to be so much fun as I can design an outfit with shoes and accessories and have a fully complete line now. This was the first part and they turned out great. I can not wait to get started with even more.

This is the shoe before. I have had these for some time and they were just too bland for me. Also the other shoe the strap broke and I did not just want to get rid of them.

After. My mind and hands went to work and I got this now vamped up wedge. All fabric was from what I had laying in my sewing room and rhinestones add some bling to it. I really love them and will look great this spring and summer.

 Not bad for my first attempt. I'm excited to do more and will be doing themed shoes as well. I may be doing a Nicki Minaj or Katy Perry inspired shoe : ) Every so often I'll find something themed to design the shoe around.
